Study finds no link between high-carb diet, colon cancer

A Swedish study failed to show that eating lots of carbohydrates increases the risk of colon cancer in women as suggested by experimental evidence. The study, published in the American Journal of Epidemiology, measured dietary carbohydrates, sugar metabolism and the risk of colon cancer in 61,433 women followed for an average of 15.7 years.
