Missouri parents of children with autism advocate for tax plan

Some parents want the Missouri government to create a scholarship fund to reimburse them for tuition paid to private schools or out-of-district public schools for children with autism and other disabilities -- costs that can easily reach $40,000 annually, this article says. The scholarship fund would be funded privately, but contributors would receive state tax credits worth 80% of their donations.
