Study: Sleep deprivation doesn't cause weight gain

A recent study failed to prove that getting less than five hours of sleep per night on average will contribute to weight gain over time, as previous research had suggested. Researchers say the findings indicate that less sleep could be a risk factor, but not a causative factor, for obesity.
