Vancouver, British Columbia, is often touted as one of the most livable cities in the world. Snowcapped mountains make up the backdrop of the city, which features crystal-clear harbors. Vancouver also serves as a gateway to the maze of fjords and islands known as the Inside Passage, and the city has managed to avoid urban sprawl thanks to geography.
