Ballot proposal seeks to promote renewable energy in Ohio

A group called Yes for Ohio's Energy Future has submitted a petition for a ballot proposal that would require the state to issue $1.3 billion in bonds through 2023 to pay for wind power and other renewable-energy initiatives. The proposal is aimed at boosting the manufacturing, research and development of renewable energy in the state, said one of the petitioners.
