Broadway musicals to stage more autism-friendly performances

Two upcoming performances of Broadway musicals will be tailored specifically for audiences with autism spectrum disorders, following an autism-friendly performance of "The Lion King" staged last October. The special matinee performances of "Mary Poppins" and "The Lion King" will be sponsored by The Theater Development Fund, which works to expand access to live theater and also organized the pilot event.
