Finnair is nudging passengers toward self-service check-in

The traditional check-in process will go the way of the dinosaur for Finnair passengers. The airline has begun phasing out personal passenger check-in at Finland's Helsinki Airport. "If people check in at home on the Internet, by text message or at the self-service machines, it will speed things up," said Finnair spokeswoman Laura Varja.
