Ogilvy & Mather launches social media practice

Ogilvy & Mather has created a multidisciplinary practice designed to establish social media as a mainstream offering. The new practice, Social@Ogilvy, aims to forge connections between 550 dedicated social media experts and another 4,000 digital experts, offering social perspectives on marketing, communications, CRM, sales and shopping insights. "The real power of social media for business in 2012 and beyond lies in fully integrated solutions, not stand-alone social programs," says Social@Ogilvy chief John Bell.
