Report: Indian firms need better executive-pay governance

Indian CEOs are paid less, dollar-for-dollar, than their Western counterparts but are equitably compensated in terms of purchasing power, according to a PricewaterhouseCoopers study. That's not necessarily good news: The study also notes that Indian firms lack effective oversight of executive pay, typically letting CEOs determine executive salaries.
