Emerging world could benefit as investment prospects dim elsewhere

Poor investment prospects in the developed world should mean a renewal of capital inflow for emerging economies this year, according to the Washington-based Institute of International Finance. Net capital inflows from private investments should come to US$1.173 trillion in 2013, up from US$1.113 trillion last year, the IIF predicts.
