Houston city council approves Hobby expansion for Southwest

The Houston City Council approved a use and lease agreement for 25 years with Southwest Airlines. The agreement will allow the carrier to add international service from Hobby Airport. Southwest plans to launch service to the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico and South America by 2016.
