Rep. John Conyers Jr., D-Mich., and 37 other House members reintroduced legislation to create a universal, single-payer health care system. The Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act, proposed annually since 2003, would cover benefits including prescription drugs, emergency care and primary care.
