Work on Ohio's $81.2 million Ironton-Russell Bridge is progressing. The project will use roughly 24,395 cubic yards of concrete and over 8.2 million pounds of steel. "We are doing work that right now is preparing for the widening to the approach," said Kathleen Fuller, spokeswoman for the Ohio Department of Transportation District 9. "They should be ready to see the concrete down in the next couple of weeks, weather depending."
