Tamar group is in natural gas sale talks with Jordanian firms

The Tamar drilling group is in discussions with Jordanian firms about the sale of natural gas from Israel's Tamar field, according to a report. The field, which contains over 9 trillion cubic feet of reserves, is expected to commence production in the next few months. Noble Energy holds a 36% interest in the group, while Isramco Negev, Avner Oil Exploration, Delek Drilling and Dor Gas Exploration own the rest of the shares.
