New York City subway riders get touch-screen maps

After a six-month delay to improve the interface, the first group of touch-screen maps has been deployed at the Grand Central subway station in New York City. In addition to directions and mapping the best routes, the 18 screens give riders real-time information on delays, arrival and departure times, and safety and security announcements.
