President Barack Obama's next budget proposal will include the creation of a $1 billion "Climate Resilience Fund" aimed at helping communities to prepare for climate change, and encouraging research into "breakthrough technologies and resilient infrastructure." "It will only get worse for our children and grandchildren if we leave it for future generations to deal with," said White House spokesman Matt Lehrich.
