Task force to study feasibility of nuclear power use in Wash. state

The practicability of depending on nuclear power for supplying electricity in the Washington state will be investigated by a bipartisan joint Senate and House task force of the Washington Legislature. "We'll be working this year ... on the viability of moving forward with nuclear energy," said state Sen. Doug Ericksen. He said the task force will consider standard-size reactors and small modular reactors.
