Dutch conference looks at global issues of coastal development

Scientists gathered this month at Aquaterra, a conference held in Amsterdam dealing with delta and coastal development, to discuss issues such as climate change, rising sea levels and erosion. Planners around the world are dealing with shifting patterns of river flows and storms, and the Dutch said they are working to re-examine their policies to try to "live with the water."
