California's workers' compensation reform laws brokered by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger have reduced costs, but some critics say the current system hurts workers who are truly injured, writes Daniel Weintraub in the San Jose Mercury News. "Schwarzenegger and his representatives should step in and craft an agreement to clarify that California law does not allow discrimination based on age, gender or race in the awarding of disability payments," Weintraub writes.
