Study links obesity to heightened risk for many cancers:

Obesity can raise a person's risk of developing up to a dozen types of cancer, including colon, breast, esophageal, thyroid, uterus, gall bladder and kidney cancer, a new study found. Researchers emphasize, however, that there is no proof that being overweight causes cancer.
