Tyson to expand with purchase of Brazilian chicken company

By next month, Tyson Foods is expected to complete its acquisition of Brazilian chicken company Pena Branca's entire poultry operation in a $74.4 million deal. The venture will give Tyson its first chicken-processing plant in Brazil, which is the world's top chicken exporter, according to the Wall Street Journal.
