Marketers liking the sound of Web radio

The merger of TargetSpot and Ronning Lipset Radio created a network of Web radio listeners that numbered 15.3 million in December 2008. The medium is becoming a new favorite of marketers who are beginning to appreciate its reach. Lauren Russo, VP-Managing Director of local radio at Horizon Media, said of Web radio, "I see more clients embracing it."
