Virtual classes may draw in home-school parents

Home-schooling Wisconsin parents are increasingly enrolling their children in virtual public schools to give their children accountability to another adult. "Teachers support the parent in the child's learning, but [parents] have flexibility to supplement the curriculum," said Wanda Routier, a member of the Marshfield Area Home Educators organization whose son is now enrolled in an online public school. "It enables children to move at their own pace."
