6 potential buyers line up for Germany's Karstadt

Karstadt's profitability has improved, prompting interest from six potential buyers, which have not been identified. Germany's largest retailer, Metro, is not willing to acquire Karstadt's entire operation, which is what the insolvency administration has requested, according to spokesman Ruediger Stahlschmidt.
