Bright future for electrochromatic windows

Electrochromatic windows could function as sunglasses for windows of the future, cutting energy consumption for buildings. The "dynamic windows" can change color depending on the amount of light, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory is working on developing low-cost technology to manufacture the windows.
