Georgia may bar insurers from contributing to regulator's campaign

Georgia state Rep. Austin Scott, R-Tifton, introduced legislation that would ban insurance companies and their employees from donating to the state insurance commissioner's political campaigns. This comes as Scott intends to run for governor, a post also sought by his fellow Republican, state Insurance Commissioner John Oxendine.
