NHTSA reviews more reports of fatal crashes involving Toyota vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has seen an increase in the number of reports of fatal crashes involving Toyota vehicles since the car company recalled its new models because of vehicle defects. In addition to 17 complaints filed in the past decade, the agency received reports of nine crashes that occurred between 2005 and 2010 and killed 13 motorists, bringing to 34 the total number of fatalities linked to Toyota vehicles.
