Pilot lands small airplane on Sacramento highway

An amateur pilot made an emergency landing in his Rans S-9 single-seat, single-engine airplane on a Sacramento, Calif., highway on Saturday after the aircraft's engine stopped working. The aircraft clipped the rear of an SUV and spun before crashing, but there were no injuries in the aircraft or the vehicle.
