Student-athletes with visual impairments train at Olympic center

A group of California student-athletes with visual impairments spent the weekend training at a Colorado facility for Olympic and Paralympic athletes. Students visited the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs as part of a program sponsored by nonprofit groups to help inspire the students. "It teaches them independence, it teaches them self-confidence and how to integrate successfully in their community," one program official said.
