Architects compete to design train station "of the future"

One architectural firm envisions a train depot of terrazzo-concrete "wrapped by what we call 'green tracks' in a graphic pattern inspired by the parallel and diverging rails of a railway yard." Concrete would help reduce energy needs, and the structure would create energy via solar panes and geothermal heating.
