Teachers in a Pennsylvania district are individualizing reading instruction based on students' skills with the Read 180 intervention computer program, which was purchased with federal stimulus money. "I've always individualized in the past, but not every single day for every single student," one fifth-grade teacher said. "Every day they're getting exactly what they need."
