Are VC associates worth bothering with?

Many entrepreneurs say it's better to interact with the partners in venture-capital firms instead of dealing with associates, Jay Bhatti writes. "It's much better to get a clear no from the partners in the VC firm than a 'maybe' or 'hold on' from junior associates that only drags out the process," he writes. Partners also tend to have more experience than associates, who might be trying to bring as many deals as possible to the partners.
