Study finds no change in CT scan use in pediatric EDs

A study in the journal Pediatrics found no overall increase in computed tomography scan use at two tertiary care pediatric emergency departments of a large pediatric health care system from 2003 to 2010. Researchers noted declines in head CT scan use for seizure and head injuries.
