Vitamin B, omega-3 supplements don't prevent cancer in heart patients

French researchers found that consumption of relatively low doses of vitamin B and omega-3 fatty acid supplements for five years had no beneficial effects on cancer occurrence or cancer-related death in patients with a history of heart problems. The study appeared in the Archives of Internal Medicine.
