Consultant tells employers to make wellness a top priority

Wellness consultant Dee Edington said he urges employers to put employee health at the same organizational level as safety and quality because all three represent a potential threat to the organization if they are not handled correctly. Edington said employers who connect employee health with business costs are bringing services to the work site, and companies that have established clinics find they are "pretty cost-economical."
