Mobile app helps users examine heart disease risk

A mobile application created by the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation and unveiled by the Million Hearts initiative enables patients to assess themselves for heart disease risk. The Heart Health Mobile app, which is available in the iTunes store and will be available in the HTML5 format starting in March, asks a series of health questions and directs users to clinics and pharmacies, such as CVS Caremark Minute Clinics, for blood pressure and cholesterol assessments.
