Bank of America hires Initiative as media buyer

Bank of America has moved its media-buying and media-planning accounts from Interpublic Group agency Deutsch, New York, to sibling agency Initiative Worldwide. The moves comes four months after the bank shifted its creative account from Deutsch to another Interpublic company, Draft. It is estimated that Bank of America spent $197 million on advertising from January 2004 to October 2004.
