Demand for college e-textbooks weak

Despite the appeal of their discounted prices, few college students have embraced electronic textbooks. Rice University e-book author C. Sidney Burrus notes that today's first generation e-texts typically just duplicate hardcopy versions, but future editions promise to include more exciting enhancements, including videos and built-in calculators.
