Google makes case for use of trademarked search terms

Google, invoking comparisons to the placement of generic brands next to their trademarked, name-brand rivals on store shelves, believes it has the right to display competitors to Rescuecom when a user types the company's name into a search query, according to a brief filed in an ongoing legal tussle between the two companies. But Rescuecom claims a user would not grasp the difference between paid and organic search results.
