China's official media enjoy praise from G-7 ministers

At its latest meeting, the Group of Seven largely backed away from anything that could be considered criticism of the way China is managing its currency, the yuan. The nation's official media are celebrating Western acceptance of China's success in building and stabilizing its economy. In an official statement, the G-7 gave high marks to "China's fiscal measures and continued commitment to move to a more flexible exchange rate."
