French president, unions to negotiate stimulus details

France's union leaders are set to meet Wednesday with President Nicolas Sarkozy to reach an agreement on the direction of the country's economic stimulus. Sarkozy's proposal puts most of the spending into government projects rather than giving direct assistance to workers and consumers, an approach that is drawing criticism from labor and opposition political parties.
