Users flock to LinkedIn during downturn

Job-networking site LinkedIn is benefiting from the downturn, exhibiting a 22% jump in the number of U.S. unique visitors in January, versus December levels, per comScore data. During the one-month period, the number of users increased from 6.3 million to 7.7 million, and the number of total minutes spent on the site doubled, from 47.6 million to 96.8 million.
