Up-to-date-vaccinations increase when parents hold shot card

Parents who maintain their child's vaccination records may do a better job ensuring shots aren't missed, according to a study in Pediatrics. Researchers said when parents controlled the "shot card," rather than physicians, the odds the child would be up-to-date on vaccines increased by more than half.
