ICFs gain favor as green building material

Strong, durable and energy efficient, insulating concrete forms are gaining favor as a green building material. Made of expandable polystyrene, they are used for building cast-in-place concrete walls, floors and roofs -- and have the added benefits of sound absorption, thermal resistance and flexibility.
