T-Mobile plots strong HSPA+ moves, big-screen phone

T-Mobile USA is firing both barrels at its rivals, unveiling a USB stick for its HSPA+ advanced 3G network it is building in Philadelphia as well as HTC's HD2 smartphone whose large screen is aimed at accommodating movie downloads and e-books. The HSPA+ device will be the first from any U.S. wireless carrier, and T-Mobile will also detail today the progress it has made in expanding its high-speed network.
