Tech lab offers students many options for communication assistance

An assistive technology lab that serves schools in three Florida counties contains an array of devices to help students with special needs communicate with parents, teachers and fellow students. The lab at Oak Park School has been assembled over a number of years by two therapists who solicit donations of used equipment and offer to test new products as part of their efforts to find products that work for individual students with special needs.
