U.N. panel, "settled science" face heat in climate scandals

The numerous controversies surrounding climate-change studies and findings may make no difference in the underlying science about climate change, writes The Wall Street Journal's editorial board. However, the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has been put under more scrutiny. "The lesson of climategate and now the IPCC's shoddy sourcing is that the claims of the global warming lobby need far more rigorous scrutiny," the editorial argues.
