Abdominal fat transfer shows good cosmetic results after partial mastectomy

Free dermal fat transfer from the lower abdomen produced excellent cosmetic results in 21 small-breasted women who had undergone partial mastectomy of the inner, upper quadrant, according to a study published in the journal Surgery. Patients experienced mild resorption and fibrosis, and graft shape tended to change from oval to spherical, the researchers reported.
