Flavanols in chocolate help to reduce brain stress

Regular consumption of chocolate with higher levels of flavanols has been found to decrease the amount of stress on the brain, say Australian researchers. "When consumed regularly, the brain is able to complete memory tasks with less effort," says Hans Vriens, chief innovation officer at Barry Callebaut.
