Food manufacturers are working to increase the nutritional value of foods long-viewed as less-than-healthy, though in an editorial, the author contends people will still eat the high-fat, high-calorie foods, if only as a treat. Richard Tomkins argues some companies may need to focus less on long-term growth, however.
